Something has cosmically thrown my mojo way off. Yesterday I decided to re-knit an ornament for the craft fair that I had already done once. My first attempt left me with too few stitches after all the increase rounds. The second attempt left me with way too many stitches. And somewhere in there I managed to spend four hours reading Pre-Calc lectures, which may just have something to do with my lack of ability to count anything. The most I could do by the end of the day was watch mindless TV and wind balls of yarn. Every time I thought about knitting it gave me a distinct throbbing sensation right over my eyes. So I am going to start fresh today. I am going to get more homework and knitting done and it’s going to be done right the first time. I’m going to drink more coffee than any human should consume and by the end of the day I will have accomplished a lot. I may also be able to feel my eyes vibrate. Wish me luck!
Side note: NaKnitMo or National Knit Month is coming up next month. I am once again participating and my stitch goal for the end of the month is 500,000. Let’s hope this means I will get a lot of knitting done!
