For those of you not in the know, it’s Socktoberfest! It’s a month long celebration of all things sock! There is a Ravelry group if you are interested in joining. There are almost no rules but to make socks! My Ravelry user name is deadendkid if you are interested in adding me as a friend. Here is my first toe up sock:
I apologize for the picture quality. I am doing my first toe up socks on size 3 DPNs. The yarn is Superwash Merino Sock Yarn from Angorayarn. It is the Montana Summer colorway. The yarn is super soft and a joy to work with.
I am also still working on my Grandmother’s prayer shawl:
I am using the Lacy Shawl pattern from the Prayer Shawl Companion. I am using KnitPicks Wool of the Andes in the Claret Heather colorway and size 11 straight needles. Here is a close up of the lace:
And there has been some construction going on in my casa. I can only show you a part of what has already been done but there will be a big update about the whole project once it is complete. Here is a small peek:

More to come! Happy Socktoberfest!
