Before I rant on about how I’ve been lied to by Raisin Bran and my love for the movie UP! I need to get some knitting talk out of my system.
Project Manhattan (aka the largest project I’ve ever undertaken) has come to a grinding halt. Not because I’m out of yarn, but because the knitting fates decided to play a little trick on me. All this time I thought it was so cute that Shadow wanted to sleep in my knitting basket. That is until I took my project out and realized that the pressure from his weight + the way I arranged things = a broken knitting needle. I’m less than thrilled. So I took sock #2 of my plain vanilla socks with me to Yarn N Yak. I’m highly considering working on the poncho of doom today. We shall see.
I have been using The Daily Burn to track all my recent nutritional information as well as my exercise progress and I was totally shocked to find out that Raisin Bran is h0rrible for you! It has a high caloric value, a lot of sugar, sodium, and fat. I’m still kind of blown away by this information. However, Cocoa Crispies are okay for you. WTH? I feel like I’m living in the Nutritional Twilight Zone.
And finally I want to say a few small words about the movie UP! I love it! I got the chance to see it last night and it was fantastic! There were times I laughed so hard I cried. So run my pretties! Run as fast as you can and go see UP!
