Oh right. I should have been doing that whole bloging thing the past couple of weeks but it’s been so beautiful outside, I’ve been a bit distracted.
Anywho, I’m going to show some pictures of what I’ve been up to lately:
These are the Nutkin Socks
I finished on April 3rd. Here are some more pictures of the same socks:
I used Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock Medium Weight in the Farmhouse colorway. These were knit on size 3 DPNs.
Next I bring you the sock I knit in just three days. I have decided to permanently frog my Tweedy Fair Isle socks from Knitpicks because no matter how loosely I think I’m knitting the fair isle part doesn’t stretch far enough to get over my heel. So instead I’ve started a pair of Breeze (heads up: that’s a ravelry link) socks. And here is the first one in all it’s glory:
I knit this little beauty up in Aspen Moon Arts Cotton Bamboo sock yarn in the Citrus Rain colorway on size 3 DPNs.
I’ve also been gardening for the first time in my life and look:
LIFE!!! I did it! Okay, so they are just tiny little sprouts but when they grow up they will be tomato plants and spinach and all kinds of other wonderful things. 🙂 Hurray!
And so that has been my life lately. I did a little work on the Union Square Poncho just yesterday because I couldn’t miter another square to save my soul. But I am 25% done with my sister’s present so that’s worth something. Well, I’m off to play Ninjabread Man!
