Oh Knitpicks, thou art a foul temptress. I have been sticking to my knitting schedule and chart for almost a month now and I have been quite sure that I could do it without veering from the plan. However, Knitpicks recently sent out a catalog with the Lacy Accent Scarf from the book Glam Knits knit up in their gorgeous Shadow yarn. The cost of making the scarf is about $6 and I found the book for the same price on Amazon. I want to use their Oregon Coast Heather to make the scarf and I’m so tempted to add it to the list. UGH. I will make it a goal of mine to not buy the yarn or the book until I’ve knocked a few more things off the list. Besides the fact that I have several large projects to complete for Christmas but I’m trying to force myself to spin more often. I keep finding more fiber that I want but I’m not even handed enough to make yarn that is good for anything but accent yarn. I know I shouldn’t be tempted to do more because my “goals list” overwhelms me enough as it is but…that scarf….
