I know it’s only October but I am gearing up for an experiment on January 1st. I am still working out the perimeters of the experiment, but I do know that starting January 1st 2010 I will be attempting to make as many of my own things as possible. There will be some small exceptions and I will be allowed to buy supplies to help me make these things but otherwise I will be making everything that I will need including clothing. Which means I will have to learn to *sew*!! Dum dum dum! Wish me luck as I figure out all the rules of experiment in the months to come.

This is so great! If you need help or ideas, give me a hollar. Try to buy supplies locally or check Local Harvest for things you might not have. Don’t forget thrift stores too. I found some handspun yarn there ready to weave with.
Best wishes!

Thank you so much! It was so great to meet you!
I have been doing my homework and using Local Harvest to get some answers! They also have some great prices on spinning fiber! Thanks for dropping by the blog. Hope to hear from you soon!
